Amadita P. de González Clinical Laboratory, is a laboratory of automated and specialized clinical analysis founded in the year 1959 by Amada Pittaluga de González after finishing her post-grade studies, for a period of three (3) years in the Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia, USA, offering services in the paediatric area of medicine.. One year later unites with the doctors that conformed Clínica Dr. Mañón where it enlarges the areas of Haematology, Clinical Chemistry, Urine analysis, Microbiology and Thyroid Tests and offers home delivery.

By the year 1965, already inside Grupo Médico Bolívar, continues enlarging its analysis range in the areas of Immunology and Electrophoresis. To the beginning of 1970 acquires a haematological accountant, making the first steps in the automation of the clinical laboratory in the country.

Six (6) years later the laboratory is integrated to Grupo Médico Asociado Gómez Patiño offering Levels of Medication, Allergy Tests and enlarging the range of Hormonal Tests, this way continuing especially its automation process in the Clinical Chemistry area. In 1984 moves to a new place today headquarters of the Main Laboratory, offering services twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.

Through the years we have grown and extended our action ratio, opening branches, enlarging our home service, day and night the whole year long, to offer better service and bigger comfort to our clients. The branches are strategically located to ensure coverage in all sectors of the capital city: Piantini Branch, Branch Naco, Arroyo Hondo Branch, Ozama Branch, Branch Herrera, Maria Auxiliadora Branch, North Branch Mirador, Branch Esperilla, Branch Carretera Mella, Branch Bella Vista, Branch CRESA Santo Domingo, Villa Mella Branch retaining the mystique which the laboratory is committed. The service has spread to the countryside, with the opening in the Zona Norte of Santiago Cresa Branch and the East Branch to La Romana. Subsequently opened in the city of San Cristobal, in the zone of Villa Mella and Gazcue (prenatal care).

At the moment we are a laboratory that contributes a wide service to the scientific medical community and the general public, offering services in the Routine Haematological areas, Specialized Haematology and Clotting, Sanguine Chemistry, Urinary and other biological fluids, Urinalysis, Parasitology, Serology, Immunology, Inmunofluoressence, Clinical Microbiology, Electrophoresis, Inmunoelectrophoresis and Special Tests. The Laboratory has a great team of highly qualified professionals in constant upgrade process that constitutes the base to guarantee excellence in our service.
